A view from Mt. Nebo into Israel. Scholars disagree as to whether or not them mountain currently called Nebo is the same as the Mt. Nebo mentioned in Numbers and Deuteronomy; however, it is likely that the current Mt. Nebo is located in the same mountain range of ancient Moab and can serve to represent what it may have looked like for Moses to look upon the Promised Land.
